Oilers Jump 1 Spot in the National Rankings

The University of Findlay men's basketball team jumped up one spot in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II poll, which was released on Dec. 2.

The Oilers, who were idle last week, are ranked 21st in the latest poll. They have a 1-1 record on the season and will open up Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Thursday when they host Northwood University. The game is scheduled to tip at 7:30 p.m. in Croy Gymnasium.

Findlay is one of two teams from the GLIAC to show up in the poll this week as Michigan Technological University is ranked 20th. They are also one of five teams from the Midwest Region to be in the top-25.
