Oilers Host Yellow Jackets on Saturday
The Oilers will be at home on Saturday, Nov. 26 to host Cedarville in a non-conference game. The contest is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. inside Croy Gymnasium.

Series Information
The Oilers hold a 70-22 advantage in the all-time series against Cedarville as the two programs have been meeting on the hardwood since 1910. In their first meeting, the Yellow Jackets came away with a 32-30 win over Findlay.
The Oilers scored a 69-60 win over the Yellow Jackets last season in Cedarville. The Oilers hit 42.6 percent (23-of-54) of their field goal attempts and canned 7-of-19 (36.8%) three point tries in the game. They also held a 34-29 advantage on the boards and forced 17 turnovers in the win.
Martyce Kimbrough led the team with 19 points while Taren Sullivan and John Staley each scored 13. Staley also added eight rebounds while Sullivan had four boards and a pair of steals.
Dylan Kaufman nearly reached double figures with eight points while Tyler Stern-Tucker had five points and three rebounds.
Cedarville received 15 points from J.C. Faublon and 14 points and six rebounds from Patrick Bain.
Findlay
The Oilers improved to 2-1 on the season with an 85-63 win over Trevecca Nazarene on Nov. 19 in Nashville, Tenn.
The Oilers shot 49.2 percent (29-of-59) from the floor and canned a season-high 15-of-27 (55.6%) shot attempts from three point range in the victory. They also limited the Trojans to a 39.1 percent (25-of-64) shooting clip and scored 27 points off of 17 Trevecca turnovers.
Junior guard Martyce Kimbrough posted a season-high 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting to lead Findlay. Kimbrough also added three rebounds and made 6-of-9 attempts from long distance. Junior forward Taren Sullivan also played well and contributed 17 points, five rebounds and three assists while junior guard Elijah Kahlig came off the bench to provide eight points, two rebounds and two assists.
Junior guard Austin Gardner stuffed the stat sheet once again with seven points, eight assists, four rebounds and a pair of steals while senior forward Tyler Stern-Tucker chipped in seven points and three boards in the game.Sophomore forward Alex White scored only four points, but had a team-high nine rebounds as well.
Cedarville
Cedarville has a 2-3 record and have been led by J.C. Faublon, who is averaging 13.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Patrick Bain is contributing 12.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest while Easton Bazzoli is scoring 9.8 points per game to go along with his 4.8 rebounds per game.
The Yellow Jackets are averaging 73.8 points per game and giving up 76.8 points per contest. They are making 38.2 percent (34-of-89) of their three point attempts and shooting 44.7 percent (135-of-302) from the floor.
The Yellow Jackets are also averaging 6.4 steals per game and forcing 13.6 turnovers per night.
Bombs Away
Junior guard Martyce Kimbrough has made 12 three pointers for the Oilers this season and ranks second in the GLIAC with 4.0 three pointers made per game. Kimbrough is also shooting 54.5 percent (12-of-22) from long range this year.
Kimbrough made 80 three pointers for the Oilers during the 2015-16 campaign, the sixth-best single-season total in school history.
As a team, the Oilers are shooting 40.8 percent (29-of-71) from three point range, which ranks third in the GLIAC.
Getting on the Glass
The Oilers are averaging 12.3 offensive rebounds per game, the fourth-best total in the GLIAC. They are also grabbing 40.3 rebounds per contest, which ranks third in the league.
Individually, sophomore forward Alex White leads the team with 7.0 rebounds per game.
Dishing the Rock
The Oilers rank second in the conference with 18.3 assists per game. Junior guard Austin Gardner has led the team and ranks second in the GLIAC with 7.0 assists per game. His 7.0 assist-to-turnover ratio is also the second-best mark in the league.
A Tough Place to Play
The Oilers are 583-117 (.833) in Croy Gymnasium since they starting playing home games there during the 1969-70 season. They have gone undefeated at home eight times in a season since they began play in Croy Gymnasium as well.
In the past ten years the Oilers have posted a staggering 128-7 record at home for an incredible winning percentage of .948.
From 2004-11, the Oilers won 71-straight home games, which at the time was the longest streak in the nation regardless of NCAA division.
Handling Non-Conference Foes
The Oilers have posted a 57-3 record (.950) against non-conference opponents in games played at Croy Gymnasium during the past ten years. Their last loss at home to a non-conference team came against #1 West Liberty State by a score of 90-74 on Nov. 14, 2012.
