Sullivan Earns 3rd GLIAC Player of the Week Award

Junior forward Taren Sullivan was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week for the third time this season on Feb. 6. He was previously honored on Jan. 9 and Jan. 23.

Sullivan led the Oilers to a pair of wins at home last week by averaging 21.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game. Sullivan also shot 73.1 percent (19-of-26) from the floor in the two victories. Sullivan began the week with 15 points and nine rebounds in the Oilers 88-86 win over Walsh on Jan. 30. He then followed with a career-high 28 points in Findlay's 88-74 win over Hillsdale on Feb. 2. He also added nine rebounds and six assists in the win.

The Lima, Ohio native is averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.9 blocks per game for the Oilers this season.
