#15 Oilers Cruise Past Cedarville

The University of Findlay men's basketball team cruised to an 84-56 win over Cedarville University on Feb. 13 in Croy Gymnasium. The win gives the 15th-ranked Oilers a 23-3 record on the season with a 17-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers shot 48.5 percent (32-of-66) from the floor and limited the Yellow Jackets to a mere 33.3 percent (22-of-66) shooting clip. They also out-rebounded Cedarville 45-35 and came away with nine steals in the win.

Senior guard Martyce Kimbrough paced Findlay with 16 points and five rebounds while senior forward Taren Sullivan had 11 points and five boards.

Senior guards Elijah Kahlig and Austin Gardner had nine points and four assists apiece while freshman guard Tommy Schmock had eight points, five rebounds and a pair of assists in the game.

Freshman forward Brady Wildermuth contributed eight points and four rebounds, junior center Alex White had seven points and eight rebounds, and sophomore forward Aaron Overhiser finished with four points and six boards.

The Yellow Jackets were led by Conner TenHove's 17 points and eight rebounds.

The Oilers will be back in Croy on Thursday, Feb. 15 to host Ohio Valley University at 6pm.
