White Named D2CCA Midwest Region Player of the Year

Senior forward Alex White was named the 2019 Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Midwest Region Player of the Year. White, who was tabbed the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Year, also earned first team all-region accolades.

White has led the eighth-ranked Oilers to a 27-4 record on the season and he is averaging 18.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. He is also shooting 54.6 percent from the field and blocking 1.9 shots per contest.

The West Chester, Ohio native has scored 580 points for Findlay this season, the 11th-highest total in school history. He also ranks 41st all-time at Findlay with 1,098 career points.
