3 Oilers Earn All-Conference Honors

All-Conference Teams

The University of Findlay men's basketball team had three athletes earn all-league honors as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released their annual postseason awards on Mar. 4.

Senior guard Tommy Schmock earned first team all-conference honors and a spot on the all-defensive team to lead the way. Sophomore forward Nathan Bruns was voted first team all-conference while senior forward Anthony Masterlasco captured second team accolades.

Schmock is averaging 13.8 points, 5.5 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game this season. He is also shooting 50.7 percent (102-of-201) from the floor and has made 40-of-99 (40.4%) attempts from behind the three point line. He was also a first team and all-defensive team pick last year for the Oilers as well.

Bruns is averaging 13.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest. He is converting 55.3 percent (121-of-219) of his shot attempts and has made 41.4 percent (24-of-58) of his three point attempts this season. He was voted second team all-conference last year as a freshman.

Masterlasco is averaging 11.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. He is shooting 58.3 percent (98-of-168) from the floor and 47.8 percent (22-of-46) from behind the three point line.
