Oilers Win 3rd Straight | Beat Ohio Christian 98-65

The University of Findlay men's basketball team won their third straight contest with a 98-65 victory over Ohio Christian University on Dec. 29 in Niekamp Arena. The win gives the Oilers an 8-5 record on the season.

The Oilers shot a blistering 61.2 percent (41-of-67) from the floor and drilled 12-of-25 (48%) attempts from behind the three point line. They also held a 39-22 advantage on the boards and recorded 25 assists.

Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco led Findlay with 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting while junior forward Nathan Bruns recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. He also added a career-high five steals and contributed four assists.

Junior guard Joey Edmonds finished with 14 points and six assists, senior guard Tre'Maine Gray had 12 points and four assists, and freshman forward Josh Thorbahn had ten points and four rebounds.

Senior forward Deven Stover nearly reached double figures with eight points while senior forward Dondre Palmer finished with six points and four boards.

Titus Burns led the Trailblazers with 13 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Friday, Dec. 31 when they travel to Painesville, Ohio to face Lake Erie College at 1pm.
