Oilers Finish 6th At NCAA Regional #1

Results

The University of Findlay men's golf team finished in a tie for sixth place with 601 (306, 295) at the first NCAA Regional event of the season on Monday, September 26 in South Haven, Michigan.

Michael Schmitmeyer (76, 70 - 146) and Marcus Hunt (76, 70 - 146) tied for 11th place to lead the team.

Logan Cooke (78, 73 - 151), Jake North (76, 82 - 158) and Jack Kastor (82, 84 - 166) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will be back in action again on October 2-3 when they compete at the 2011 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship.  The event is being hosted at the Eagle Eye Golf Course in Lansing, Michigan.
