Oilers Place 19th in Kentucky

Results

The University of Findlay men's golf team placed 19th out of 25 teams at the Jewell, which was hosted at the Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky.  The Oilers shot a two-round score of 612 (302, 310) at the event, which concluded on Sunday, April 1.

Marcus Hunt tied for 29th to lead the Oilers as he carded a 149 (76, 73).

Jack Kastor (73, 79 – 152), Michael Schmitmeyer (74, 78 – 152), Jake North (79, 80 – 159) and Logan Cooke (79, 83 – 162) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will be back out on the course again on April 8-9 at the third NCAA regional of the year in Indianapolis, Ind.
