Oilers to Compete in Midwest/South Central Regional
The University of Findlay men's golf team has qualified for the Midwest/South Central Regional, which will be played at the Jefferson City Country Club in Jefferson City, Mo. The event is scheduled to take place on May 7-9.
The Oilers earned the ninth-seed in the Midwest portion of the tournament and will be one of 20 teams competing at the event.
The top five teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals May 15-19, at The Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, Kentucky as part of the 2012 Division II Spring Championships Festival. The Festival will be hosted by Bellarmine University and the Louisville Sports Commission.
