Oilers Sitting in 10th Place at GLIAC Championship

The University of Findlay men's golf team finished the second round of the 2012 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship on Monday, Oct. 15 with a score of 310.  They are now in tenth place at the event, which is being held at the Elyria Country Club in Elyria, Ohio, with a 623 (313, 310).

Marcus Hunt led the Oilers on the second day of competition with a 1-over par score of 73 as he is currently tied for 29th with a two-round score of 153 (80, 73).

Hunt achieved his 73 on Monday by recording three birdies and an eagle.

Ty Tweed is tied with Hunt after firing an 80 on Monday.  Tweed, who shot a 73 in the opening round, has a two-round score of 153.

Dustin Lieber (78, 79 – 157), Jack Kastor (82, 78 – 160) and Chien-Han Sung (82, 84 – 166) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
