Craig Named Assistant Director of Golf

Former men's golf standout Adam Craig has been hired as the Oilers new assistant director of golf.

"I am very excited to join Dominic's staff at UF," said Craig.  "I think with my experiences at all different levels can help take the UF golf program to the next level. It is great to get to be on staff with many of the people who served as role models during my time at UF as a player and that I have developed relationships with over the last ten years in Findlay. I am eager to get the season started and help lead the UF golf team to another successful season."

Craig, who has served as an assistant professional at the Findlay Country Club since 2009, was a four-year letter winner for the Oilers from 2005-08.  He was a part of the 2007 squad, which won the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) championship, and was named honorable mention all-conference for his efforts during the 2005-06 campaign.

The Lorain, Ohio native has many top-25 finishes in Northern Ohio PGA events and was a top-10 placer in the 2012 Assistants Championship.

Craig currently serves on the board of the Toledo Chapter PGA as a treasurer.
