Kastor Tied for 3rd at GLIAC Tournament

The University of Findlay men's golf team completed the first round of the 2013 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Eagle Eye Golf Club in East Lansing, Mich.

The Oilers shot a score of 301 on the first day, which puts them in a tie for fifth place with Ashland University.

Malone University leads the tournament after recording a 293 on day one.

Jack Kastor shot an even-par 72 during the opening round and is currently in a tie for third at the tournament.

He had three birdies and 12 pars during his round.

Marcus Hunt ended the first round with a 2-over par score of 74 and is tied for ninth place.

Stephen Sinchok (77), Dustin Lieber (78) and Matthew Fisher (84) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will continue tomorrow and conclude on Monday.
