Men's Golf Places 8th at UW-Parkside Invitational

The University of Findlay men's golf team tied for eighth at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational, which was held on March 30-31 at the Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus, Ind.

The Oilers fired a two-round score of 607 (304, 303) and were led by Marcus Hunt, who finished in fifth place with a 145.  Hunt shot a two-over par score of 74 in the opening round on Sunday and then came back with a one-under par score of 71 in the final round on Monday for his total.

Dustin Lieber (76, 77 – 153), Matthew Fisher (78, 77 – 155), Jack Kastor (76, 83 – 159), Stephen Sinchok (81, 78 – 159) and Jake North (84, 80 – 164) also competed for Findlay.

The Oilers will be back out on the golf course again on April 5-6 at the second NCAA Regional of the year. The tournament will be played at the Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio.
