Oilers Wrap Up 1st NCAA Regional

Results

The University of Findlay men's golf team placed 20th at the first NCAA Regional of the season, which concluded on Sep. 30 at Harborside International in Chicago, Ill.

The Oilers, who shot a 622 (304, 318) at the tournament, were led by junior Dustin Lieber. Lieber finished in a tie for 22nd with a 150 (68, 82) at the tournament.

Senior Jack Kastor (78, 78 – 156), senior Jake North (79, 77 – 156), senior Stephen Sinchok (79, 81 – 160) and freshman Andrew Stevens (81, 82 – 163) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will return to the golf course again on Oct. 4-5 at the Wayne State Invitational. The tournament is scheduled to be played at the Meadowbrook Country Club in Detroit, Mich.
