Oilers Finish Round 1 of Spring Invite
The University of Findlay men's golf team wrapped up day one of their Spring Invitational on March 25 at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington. The Oilers are currently in 16th place after firing a 300 while Indianapolis is leading the event with a 7-under par score of 281.
Freshman Tanner Grzegorczyk led the Oilers on Monday with an even-par round of 72. He turned in a 4-under par score of 32 on the front nine before finishing +4 on the back nine.
Junior Luke Kelly was 1-over par with a 73 and is tied for 30th with senior teammate Dylan DeWitt.
Freshman Caleb Westfall fired a 4-over par score of 76 and is tied for 66th, sophomore Parker Haynes is tied for 89th with a 79, junior Sam Griffith is tied for 99th with an 80, and sophomore Brock Kehres is tied for 105th with an 81.
The second round of the tournament will take place tomorrow.
