Oilers Finish Fourth at Findlay Spring Invite
Lexington, Ky. – The University of Findlay men's golf team, ranked 23rd in the country, came up short on the second day of the 2023 Findlay Spring Invite which was held at the University Club of Kentucky the past two days. On Tuesday, March 28, teams played the remainder of round two as well as all 18 holes of the final round. The Oilers took fourth, moving two spots up on the leaderboard to take fourth at the event. The Oilers ended up shooting a 54-hole score of 871 (+7). Missouri S&T posted the lowest team score of the week, a 865 (+1) to take the tournament title.
The Oilers sent two teams to the event. The "B Squad" finished in a tie for 16th after recording a 54-hole total of 901 (+37).
