Eagles Down Oilers 5-2

The University of Findlay men's soccer team fell 5-2 to Ashland University on Sunday, September 12 at DeHaven Field to give them a 1-3 record on the season with a 1-2 mark in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play.

The Eagles scored three goals in the first half and never looked back during the match as five different players scored.

The Oilers got goals from seniors Brennan Williams and Dan Stelletell in the contest.

Alex Jurek took the loss by allowing three goals in relief of Matthew Brooks, who allowed two.

The Oilers will be back in action again on September 17 when they face Northwood University at 4:30 p.m. in Midland, Michigan.
