Oilers Fall Short of Beating Panthers, 3-2

The University of Findlay men's soccer team fell 3-2 to Ohio Dominican University on Sunday, September 26 at DeHaven Field. The loss gives the Oilers a 1-6-1 record on the season with a 1-4-1 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers got the scoring going at the 23:52 mark when Shane McGee found the back of the net off of a deflection into the right side of the net.

The Panthers then added three straight goals before Mate Farkas connected for Findlay off of an assist from Logan Lipinski with less than four minutes to play in the game.

Matthew Brooks made six saves in the net for the Oilers as they will prepare to take on Tiffin University at 2:30 p.m. on October 3 in Tiffin, Ohio.
