Oilers Drop 2-1 Decision To Northwood

The University of Findlay men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Northwood University on Thursday, October 21 at DeHaven Field. The loss gives the Oilers a 2-9-2 record on the season with a 1-7-1 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Keith Lough scored both goals for the Timberwolves as he connected at the 8:19 and 43:20 marks of the game.

The Oilers lone goal came off of the foot of Corey Keister, who punched it into the net off of an assist by Nick Pahren.

As a team, the Oilers registered 19 shots compared to Northwood's 17.

Matthew Brooks made two saves and allowed two goals while Alex Jurek made five saves in relief of Brooks.

The Oilers will be back in action again October 23 when they host Saginaw Valley State University at 1 pm.
