Box Score

The University of Findlay men's soccer team defeated Ohio Dominican by a score of 1-0 on Sep. 18 at DeHaven Field.  The win takes the Oilers to a 2-2-0 record in the season.

The Oilers held a strong attack during the match, out-shooting the Panthers 14-10.

Findlay's freshman Michael Shaikly scored for the Oilers in the beginning of second half at the 50-minute mark. The goal was scored during a scramble in the box with the ball bouncing out of ODU keeper Justin Alexander's hands.  Shaikly finished the opportunity on the ODU goal line.

The UF defense also remained strong during the match with sophomores John Clark and Bailey Crawford holding off the pressing ODU offense. Junior Joe McClanahan wins the game for the Oilers in goal.

The Oilers play again Sunday, Sep. 20 at 12pm on DeHaven Field against the Lake Erie College Storm.
