2016 UF Men's Soccer Schedule Released
The University of Findlay men's soccer team will begin their 2016 campaign at home with a pair of games on Sep. 2 and Sep. 4. The Oilers will host Salem International on Sep. 2 at 5:00 p.m. before playing Concord at 12:00 p.m. on Sep. 4.
The Oilers begin Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Sep. 9 when they travel to Walsh for a 7:00 p.m. contest. They will then remain on the road to face Lake Erie at 1:00 p.m. on Sep. 11 before heading back to DeHaven Field for three games against Saginaw Valley State, Tiffin and Northern Michigan. The Oilers will host the Cardinals on Sep. 14 at 4:00 p.m., face the Dragons on Sep. 18 at 1:00 p.m. and end their home stand on Sep. 25 at 12:00 p.m. against the Wildcats.
Findlay heads to Northwood on Sep. 28 for a 4:00 p.m. match before returning home to host Ashland at 4:00 p.m. on Sep. 30. They will then welcome Ohio Dominican to town on Oct. 2 at 1:00 p.m. before continuing their four-game stretch of matches at DeHaven Field on Oct. 7 and Oct. 9, respectively, against Walsh and Lake Erie. Their game against Walsh on Oct. 7 is slated for a 4:00 p.m. start and their match against Lake Erie is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 9.
The Oilers will head to Saginaw Valley State on Oct. 12 at 3:30 p.m. and then face Tiffin on the road at 3:00 p.m. on Oct. 16. The squad will then travel to Northern Michigan on Oct. 23 for a 4:00 p.m. contest before returning home for their final home game of the regular season on Oct. 26 against Northwood at 4:00 p.m.
Findlay closes the regular season on the road with a two-match set. They will face Ashland on Oct. 28 at 7:00 p.m. before taking on Ohio Dominican at 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 30.
The GLIAC Tournament is scheduled to take place on Nov. 4 and Nov. 6 at sites to be determined.
