Oilers Tie ODU on the Road

Columbus, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's soccer team took the field versus Ohio Dominican University on Saturday, March 27th. After a 0-0 draw that went to double overtime, the Oilers' record goes to 2-0-2 (2-2) while the Panthers' record moves to 0-3-1 (0-2-1).

Although the Oilers were unable to score a goal in the contest, they outshot the Panthers 17 to 12, including a shot on goal margin of 7 to 3. The Oilers had nine different players take at least one shot taken in the contest, including five different players who had two or more shots. Freshman Nick McCracken led the attack with four shots taken with two on goal. Sophomore David Hug took three shots including two on goal. Senior Josh Hales, sophomore Harrison Szep, and junior Patryk Kibler each had two shots a piece.

Defending the goal was sophomore Andrew Boulton who tallied three saves on the contest.

The Oilers will be back in action on Thursday, April 1st back at home beginning at 4:00 p.m.
