Oilers Tie Cedarville 2-2

Box Score

The University of Findlay men's soccer team went to double overtime at Cedarville University on April 8 and tied the Yellow Jackets 2-2. The tie gives the Oilers a 2-1-3 record on the season.

The Oilers found themselves down 2-0 late in regulation before junior Patryk Kibler scored unassisted during the 74th minute to give Findlay some momentum. Freshman Nick McCracken then tied the game in the 80th minute off of an assist by Kibler to send the game into overtime.

In the first overtime period, the Oilers had one shot on goal and another in the second, but couldn't find the back of the net as they searched for the golden goal.

The Yellow Jackets outshot the Oilers 27-18 and sophomore Andrew Boulton made ten saves for Findlay.

The Oilers will be back in action again on April 10 at Ohio Valley University.
