Oilers Win Another, 7-2 Over Lakers

The University of Findlay men's tennis team continued their host streak with a 7-2 win at home over Lake Superior State University on Saturday, April 13.

The Oilers, who won their fourth straight match, now have a 7-10 record on the season with a 4-6 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Findlay won all three doubles matches and claimed four out of the six singles matches in the win.

John Kidd, Yannick Mohring, Dawid Hebda and Connor Majdalani each won their singles matches for the Oilers on Saturday.

Hebda and Kidd teamed to win the #1 doubles by an 8-5 score, Mohring and Reid Wynkoop claimed an 8-6 win in the #2 doubles while Djordje Ljubinkovic and Majdalani narrowly won the final doubles match by a score of 9-8.

The Oilers will be back out on the court again tomorrow to host Michigan Technological University at 9:30 a.m.
