Oilers Sink Lakers 5-4

The University of Findlay men's tennis team earned their first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) victory of the season with a 5-4 win over Lake Superior State University on April 3 in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.

The Oilers, who are now 10-8 on the year with a 1-3 mark in conference play, received singles wins from John Kidd, Oriol Ferrer, Carlos Blanco and Reid Wynkoop. The doubles team of Kidd and Ferrer also secured a victory in the match.

The Oilers will return to the court again on April 9 when they travel to Midland, Mich. to face Northwood University at 10 a.m.
