Sanders Named GLIAC Track Athlete of the Week

Senior Tim Sanders was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Track Athlete of the Week on Feb. 18 for his performances in the Buckeye Tune-Up, which concluded on Feb. 15 in Columbus, Ohio.

Sanders teamed with Michael Travis, Dillon Webster and Kyle Smithey to take third in the 4x400-meter relay with a NCAA automatic qualifying time of 3:14.89 and also finished first in the 60-meter hurdles with a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 8.02.

The Delphos, Ohio native added a third place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line with a provisional qualifying mark of 22.41.
