Men's Outdoor Track Ranked 5th Nationally

The University of Findlay men's outdoor track and field team is holding steady in the national rankings as they are ranked fifth this week as the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their NCAA Division II poll on Tuesday, April 16.

Individually, Derrick Vicars has the top mark nationally in the shot put (19.44m) and has the third best marks in the hammer throw (60.91m) and discus (55.93m). 

Junior Tyalor Miller has the second best distance in the shot put (18.10m) and the Oilers 4x400-meter relay team of John Guagenti, Darren Johnson, Tim Sanders and Dillon Webster have the third fastest time in their event at 3:10.20.

Guagenti is also ranked sixth in the 400m (46.95).

NCAA Division II National Rankings
