Chargers Clip Oilers 6-5

The University of Findlay softball team fell 6-5 to Hillsdale College on Saturday, April 16 to give them an 18-14-1 record on the season with a 6-11 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The second game of the doubleheader was canceled due to inclement weather.

Tawna Whited took the loss by allowing six runs on eight hits in 6.2 innings of work.

Kara Hochevar and Tori Allen each had two hits for the Oilers who will battle Grand Valley State University tomorrow in a twin bill beginning at 12 pm in Allendale, Michigan.
