2017 UF Softball Schedule Released
The University of Findlay softball team will open their season in Louisville, Ky. on Feb. 11-12 for a pair of doubleheaders against Kentucky Wesleyan and Bellarmine. They will then travel to Rosemont, Ill. on Feb. 24-25 for four games against Lindenwood, Wisconsin-Parkside, Lewis and Illinois-Springfield inside a dome.
The Oilers will continue their travels on March 6-11 when they play ten games in Clermont, Fla. They will face West Virginia Wesleyan, Wayne State (Neb.), Saint Leo, Wilmington, Saint Cloud State, Salem International, Bridgeport, Nyack, Drury and Illinois-Springfield on their trip. Findlay will then have a twin bill at Cedarville on March 15 before hosting Davenport for two games on March 17.
Findlay hosts Lourdes on March 21 before beginning Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play at Hillsdale on March 26. They will then have a road tilt at Siena Heights on March 28 before hosting Lake Erie (April 1) and Walsh (April 2). After their four-game home stand, the Oilers will make a long road trip that features eight games. They will be at Grand Valley State on April 8, at Ferris State on April 9, at Ashland on April 14 and at Ohio Dominican on April 15.
The Oilers will be back at home on April 22 to host Northwood before welcoming Saginaw Valley State to town on April 23. They will then close the regular season on April 28 at Tiffin.
Findlay will once again host the GLIAC Tournament in the postseason. The tournament is scheduled to run from May 5-7 at Marathon Diamonds.
