Oilers Sweep Weekly Awards

The University of Findlay softball program swept the weekly awards from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) as senior Rebecca Harvey captured Player of the Week honors and junior Caragyn Yanek was voted Pitcher of the Week.

Harvey hit .556 in four wins over the weekend to be selected for the award. She also scored four runs, hit a home run, and drove in four during the four-game set.

Yanek went 2-0 in 12 innings of work and did not allow a run to cross the plate. She also struck out 17 batters and walked only three.
