Oilers Sweep Ashland

The University of Findlay men and women's swimming and diving team came away with a pair of victories over Ashland University on Oct. 16 in Sink Natatoriuam. The men's team won 158-112 and the women's team was victorious by a score of 146-145.

On the men's side, Janko Radmanovic had a hand in four wins for the Oilers. He won the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.43), 200-yard butterfly (1:54.17), 500-yard freestyle (4:48.15) and teamed with Ben Rath, Nick Kaftan and Alex Matthews to win the 800-yard freestyle (7:19.81).

Todo Djurovic won the 100-yard breaststroke (58.33), 200-yard breaststroke (2:09.06) and the 200-yard IM (1:59.72) while Cody Craig was victorious in the 50-yard freestyle (22.15).

Graham Rossi won the 3-meter dive at 202.58, Diego Santos was the champion in the 200-yard backstroke (1:59.36) and Conner Whitaker won gold in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.87.

On the women's side, Jessica Ward had a hand in three wins. She won the 100-yard backstroke (58.98), 100-yard butterfly (1:00.29) and teamed with Kaley Holmstrom, Hannah Schreiber and Meri Cezmar to win the 200-yard medley relay at 1:51.82.

Holmstrom also won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.83) while Cezmar was victorious in the 200-yard backstroke (2:11.22).

Madison Tanis won the 1-meter dive (236.72) and 3-meter dive (255.98) while Emma Barnes captured first place honors in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:20.61.
