Radmanovic Earns Swimmer of the Week Honor

Findlay, OH - Sophomore Janko Radmanovic has been named by CollegeSwimming.com as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Swimmer of the Week following his performance at the Calvin Winter Invitational. CollegeSwimming.com selected 123 swimmers as Swimmers of the Week for their respective conferences. 

The award comes as a results of Ramanovic's efforts this past weekend. In the three day event, the Oilers sophomore won the 50 yard freestyle (in the preliminary of that race, set a new UF record (20.34)), took second in the 200 yard butterfly (1:46.52), and placed third in the 500 yard freestyle with a school record time of 4:34.34. Each of those times were good enough to meet the 'B' Standard set by the NCAA. Radmanovic also was a participant in the Oilers 800 yard freestyle relay team that took third with a time of 6:51.74.
