Oilers Fall to Hillsdale in the Sink

Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay women's swimming and diving team welcomed the Hillsdale College Chargers to the Sink Natatorium on Saturday, Feb. 13. The Oilers lost the dual by a scored of 163-117.

Junior Chris McFarland finished first place in the 50 yard backstroke as she touched the wall in 26.96 while junior Kristina Coleman won the 50 yard breaststroke with a season-best time of 30.87. Coleman later took second in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.74.

Freshman Zoey Fedele was the top finisher in the 100 yard butterfly as she touched the wall in a season-best 59.41. Fedele also won the 50 yard butterfly as she touched the wall in 27.43, a season-best.

The Oilers 200 yard medley relay team of McFarland, Gracie Glaser, Fedele, and Coleman won their race as they defeated the Chargers with a time of 1:49.17.

Findlay is back in the pool on Feb. 20 when they welcome Malone University to the Sink for a dual meet. That contest will start at 1:00 pm.
