Miller Named GLIAC Field Athlete of the Week
Senior Taylor Miller was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Outdoor Track Field Athlete of the Week on April 14 for his performance at the All-Ohio Championship.
Miller earned a second place finish in the shot put at the event, which was held in Oxford, Ohio on April 10-11, with a NCAA automatic qualifying heave of 61'06.75. The throw is the longest in all of NCAA Division II this season.
The Waynesfield, Ohio native also had an eighth place finish in the hammer throw with a provisional toss of 181'00 and took ninth in the discus with a mark of 159'08.
