Grippe Earns GLIAC Track Athlete of the Week

Findlay, OH – University of Findlay senior Samantha Grippe has been named as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Track Athlete of the Week following her performance on Feb. 12 at the Grand Valley State Big Meet Invitational.

In the meet, Grippe ran the 800 meter run in a time of 2:10.35 which met the NCAA provisional mark for that event. She took second in the event but was first among NCAA competitors.

The time of 2:10.35 is the eighth fastest in NCAA Division II this season and is Grippe's personal record for the indoor 800 meter run.
