Top-10 Individual Performances - #6 Lydia Guagenti

The 2015-16 athletic year was another successful season for the Oilers, who saw a plethora of individual athletes achieve outstanding accomplishments. The UF athletic media relations staff has put together a list of the top-10 individual performances from the 2015-16 campaign and will be revealing them during the month of June.

#6 (Lydia Guagenti, Women's Track)

Lydia Guagenti put an end to her athletic career by racking up a number of individual awards, which led to team success. She also set a new school record during the indoor season in the high jump (5'09.25) and broke the outdoor record in the heptathlon (5,368).

During the indoor campaign, Guagenti captured a GLIAC Championship in the pentathlon and was named the GLIAC Field Athlete of the Week on two occasions (Jan. 19, Feb. 1). She earned NCAA Division II All-American honors in the high jump and pentathlon and was named all-region in both events as well.

Guagenti really stepped up her game during the outdoor season and was named the GLIAC Field Athlete of the Year for her performance at the conference championship. She also earned High Point Athlete honors at the championship event after bringing home conference titles in the high jump and heptathlon. The Bluffton, Ohio native would also earn All-American honors in the high jump and heptathlon as well as all-region accolades in the same events.

During her career, Guagenti has earned six All-American awards and won three GLIAC titles.
