Oilers Compete Day One of Findlay Classic

Results

The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Findlay Classic & Elite Throws Competition in Findlay, Ohio on January 26.

Men

In the men's distance medley, the Findlay squad came in third place . Junior Ty Gleason, junior Zach Jellison, freshmand Joe Lauck, and junior Jonathan Allen crossed the finish with a time of 10:56.81.

In the men's 5000 meter run, junior Michael Taylor placed fourth running a 15:41.70. Freshman Jack Adams came in sixth with a time of 16:00.74.

Freshman Jacob Montag took sixth in the men's pole vault, vaulting 4.30m (14-01.25).

Women

In the women's 5000 meter run, junior Torrie Purdy placed sixth with a time of 20:10.28.
