Mungro Earns G-MAC Field Athlete of the Week

Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released their Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Findlay junior Sterling Mungro earned Field Athlete of the Week after a standout performance at this past weekend's Oiler Invite.

The DeSoto, Texas native took top spot in the weight throw as he set a new personal-best in the event, a throw of 21.24m (69'8.25") that is an automatic qualifier to the NCAA DII National Championship meet and ranks fifth all-time in conference history. That throw is currently the second-longest in NCAA Division II this season.
