Aaron Dunlap is entering his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the men's track and field team in 2016-17.

Dunlap is a 2011 graduate of the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV where he participated in football and track and field.

As a football player, Dunlap earned a pair of West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) all-conference awards and holds University of Charleston records for tackles in a game and in a season. In track, he earned all-WVIAC in 2008 as a competitor in the pole vault. He graduated having been named as an academic all-American in each of his four years.

After graduation, Dunlap has been an assistant coach at East Tennessee University and Arkansas State University. While at these institutions, Dunlap has coached pole vaulters, jumpers, multi-athletes, sprinters, and hurdlers.
