Oilers Fall 59-56 in Puerto Rico

The University of Findlay women's basketball team fell 59-56 to the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon on Wednesday, December 29 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The loss gives the Oilers a 7-3 record on the season.

The Oilers shot 39 percent (16-of-41) from the floor and turned the ball over 24 times as junior guards Clare Aubry and Laura Bardall led the way with 11 points apiece.

Sophomore forward Tai Dotson also contributed ten points and ten rebounds in the loss.

Bayamon was led by Kathiria Rodriquez, who scored a game-high 18 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on January 5 when they host Ashland University at 8 pm in Croy Gymnasium.
