Patterson Resigns To Take Job At Kent State

Ryan Patterson, an associate head coach for The University of Findlay women's basketball team, has resigned from his duties with the Oilers and will take a coaching position at NCAA Division I Kent State University.

Patterson, who previously served on the men's staff with the Golden Flashes, will be the second assistant for Kent State's women's team under Bob Lindsay.

The Oilers have won two consecutive Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division titles with the help of Patterson and reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history during the 2009-10 campaign.

Patterson, who has coached at Findlay for seven years, came to the Oilers from West Liberty State University where he served as an assistant for both the men's and women's programs.
