Oilers Sign 6
Head women's basketball coach Kate Cummings announced the signing of six student-athletes on Monday, November 14.
The Oilers will add Bailee Maggert, Alex Law, Julia Grisdela, Alyssa Grevenkamp, Margaret Wuebker and Kelsey Lewis to their team during the 2012-13 campaign.
Maggert, a 5'3 guard from Heartland High School in Howell, Michigan, has been named first team all-conference twice and was selected as the Player of the Year during her junior campaign.
She has also been named honorable mention all-Michigan twice during her career.
Law, a 5'11 guard from Grand Haven High School in Grand Haven, Michigan, has been named both all-conference and all-area in each of the past two seasons.
Grisdela, a 5'9 guard from Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan, has been a four-year member of the varsity team while earning all-conference accolades.
Grevenkamp, a 5'11 guard from Lakota East High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been named all-Greater Miami Conference twice while being selected honorable mention all-Ohio after her junior season.
Wuebker, a 6'0 forward from Marion Local High School in Maria Stein, Ohio, has twice been named first team all-conference and second team all-district.
She has also had a great career on the volleyball court, earning first team all-Ohio honors in 2011 while being named all-conference four times during her tenure.
Lewis, a 6'1 forward/center from Olentangy Orange High School in Westerville, Ohio, has been named all-Ohio Capital Conference as well as all-district three times during her career.
She was also named all-conference in volleyball as well.
