Oilers to Host Heidelberg in an Exhibition Game
The Oilers will host Heidelberg in an exhibition game on Nov. 2 in Croy Gymnasium. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The Oilers were picked to finish third during the 2016-17 campaign in the GLIAC South Division as the league office unveiled their annual preseason poll on Oct. 27.
The Oilers received 25 points in the poll to tie Ohio Dominican for third place. Ashland was picked as the favorite in the South and were followed by Walsh in the poll.
Junior guard Haley Horstman was picked as a preseason all-conference performer for the Oilers. Horstman returns to the Oilers after averaging 11.9 points per game during the 2015-16 campaign.
Horstman shot 49.8 percent from the floor and also grabbed 4.1 rebounds per contest. The New Knoxville, Ohio native chipped in 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
Heidelberg
The Student Princes finished last season with a 10-17 record. Carli Patrick returns to lead the team after averaging 10.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per contest during the 2015-16 campaign.
Theresa Jackson also returns after scoring 9.0 points per game last year. She also grabbed 4.0 rebounds and dished out 2.1 assists per game.
