Series Information

Cedarville: The Oilers and Yellow Jackets have met 35 times in their history including their first game which was played in 1982-83, an 83-78 win for the Oilers. Findlay holds a 27-8 advantage in the series.

Since both have been in the G-MAC, Findlay and Cedarville have met five times. The Oilers are 4-1 in those games but are 1-1 on the road. None of those five contests have been decided by double-figures. The last double-digit win by either team in the series was on Nov. 16, 2010, a 70-52 win by the Yellow Jackets in Croy.

Hillsdale: The Chargers hold a 25-23 advantage in the 48 games played between the two squads. The series began in the 1985-86 season, a game the Oilers won 74-47.

Recently, Hillsdale has faired well against Findlay, winning 6 of the 9 meetings, including the last three, between the two since joining the G-MAC.

Findlay (15-11, 11-5 G-MAC)

The Oilers are in a good position to host a quarterfinal game in Croy next Tuesday as they currently sit in fourth place in the new Great Midwest Point Rating System with just two games remaining in the regular season.

Findlay has been led all season long by the play of sophomore forward Sydney Kin who is leading the team in scoring at 16.3 points per game, which also ranks sixth in the conference. Kin is fourth in the league in rebounding as well, grabbing a team-best 8.2 rebounds per game. Kin has scored at least 20 points in five of her previous six games and, earlier this year against Urbana, poured in a career-high 33 points.

Sophomore Amber Schweiger is scoring in double figures at ten points per game and ranks fourth in the league with 4.1 assists per game.

Sophomores Bridget Landin and Paige Bellman are also top-ten rebounders in the conference with 7.6 and 7.0 rebounds per game, respectively. Landin is scoring 9.8 points per game while Bellman chips in 8.9 to round out Findlay's top four scorers, all of which are sophomores.

Senior Lauren Ruth, playing in her final regular-season games at Findlay, chips in 7.6 points per game and is coming off of a career-best 16-point performance against Lake Erie last Saturday. Ruth has been the biggest threat from deep this season, making 1.3 triples per contest, the only player on the team to average at least one made three per game.

Cedarville (19-6, 12-4 G-MAC): Again one of the top teams in the conference, Cedarville has picked up wins in eight of their previous nine games including three wins in a row, all of which were on the road.  The Yellow Jackets are fourth in the league in scoring at 74.2 ppg and sport one of the stingiest defenses in the conference, allowing just 64.2 ppg, second-best in the G-MAC.

Abby Wolford is the team's leading scorer at 14.9 ppg, which ranks 10th in the G-MAC, and is coming off of a 25-point performance against Malone which tied a season-high. Her 1.7 steals per game and 55 made threes are also team-highs. Ashlyn Huffman is second on the team at 12.2 ppg and leads the team with 5.0 rebounds per game. She is averaging 6.0 assists per game which leads the league.

Hillsdale (6-20, 3-14 G-MAC): Just two seasons ago, the Chargers were crowned G-MAC Tournament Champions and participated in the NCAA DII Regional. Two seasons later and Hillsdale has looked very different, winning just three conference games this season and missing a conference tournament bid. One of those three conference wins, however, did come against the Oilers back in December, a 91-72 victory in Hillsdale. The Chargers have lost 10 of their previous 11 games and end their regular season against Findlay on Saturday.

Sophomore Lauren Daffenburg leads the team at 12.3 ppg while sophomore Grace Touchette is scoring 12.2 ppg. Senior Sydney Anderson joins the double-figure scoring at 10.3 ppg and leads the team with 2.5 assists per game.
