Oilers Take 3rd at NKU Spring Invitational

Results

The University of Findlay women's golf team placed third out of 20 teams at the Northern Kentucky University Spring Invitational, which concluded on Sunday, March 25.  The Oilers shot a two-day score of 622 (310, 312) to finish behind the University of Indianapolis (597) and Ashland University (612).

Individually, Ashley Gubser tied for second with a 149 (76, 73) while Brooke Albers finished in a tie for seventh after carding a 152 (75, 77).

Lauren Vogt (77, 80 – 157), Trelyn Gerlinger (82, 82 – 164) and Michele Schambs (83, 82 – 165) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will hit the links again on March 31 at the Ohio Dominican Invitational.
