Vogt, Gubser, Oilers Place 3rd at GLIAC Championship

The University of Findlay women's golf team ended the 2012 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship in third place as action concluded on Tuesday, April 24 in Midland, Mich. 

The Oilers shot a three-round score of 978 (326, 327, 325) during the tournament, which was comprised of eight teams.

Lauren Vogt (81, 78, 82 – 241) and Ashley Gubser (80, 81, 80 – 241) led the charge as they both tied for third place.

Brooke Albers (83, 90, 81 – 254), Trelyn Gerlinger (90, 82, 82 – 254) and Michele Schambs (82, 86, 86 – 254) also competed for Findlay at the event and tied for 18th place.
