Women's Golf in 4th at Indy

The University of Findlay women's golf team is sitting in fourth place with a score of 310 after completing the first day of the Indianapolis Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 22 at Heartland Crossing in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Oilers are only four shots off the lead and trail Ashland (308), Ferris State (307) and Indianapolis (306) in the standings.

Brooke Albers and Shelby Warner led the Oilers on Sunday and are currently tied for fourth after each of them posted a 75 on their scorecard. 

Kasey Petty (79), Michele Schambs (81), Hannah Schneider (90) and Taylor Tweed (92) are also competing for Findlay at the event, which features 18 teams.

The tournament will conclude on Monday.
