Oilers Lead Bing Beall Classic

Results

The University of Findlay women's golf team completed the first day of their annual Bing-Beall Fall Classic on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the Findlay Country Club.

The Oilers are currently tied with Ohio Dominican for first place at the event after each school posted a score of 315.

Kasey Petty led the Oilers on Sunday and is currently in second place with a 74. 

Petty had five birdies in the opening round to aid her performance.

Shelby Warner is tied for fourth place after firing a 78 while Michele Schambs is tied for sixth with an 80.

Hannah Schneider (82), Brooke Albers (83), Emily Mock (86) and Taylor Tweed (87) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
