Women's Golf in 6th at Indy

Results

The University of Findlay women's golf team is sitting in 6th place at the Indianapolis Invitational, which wrapped up first round action on Sep. 21 at the Heartland Crossing Golf Links in Camby, Ind.

The Oilers shot a 328 on day one and were led by sophomore Shelby Warner, who is tied for 12th with a 79.

Junior Kasey Petty is tied for 14th with an 80 while senior Michele Schambs is tied for 23rd with an 83.

Freshman Kelsey Koesters (86), junior Hannah Schneider (87) and sophomore Taylor Tweed (90) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
